Forensic Planning

Quantex Consulting provide a specialist Forensic Planning service. We will use the most appropriate and sophisticated planning software to:

1. Establish the feasibility of the programme.
2. Time analyse the facts and evidence, gathered through investigation in order to identify relevant events and establish a link between the events (causes) and the measured progress or expected impact of these events on a particular project (effect).
3. Establish whether the events identified or relied upon are critical and so causing delay to successive trades, operations and or a project’s completion date or non critical, affecting progress of trades and operations but which do not directly impact on a project’s completion date.
4. Provide appropriate graphical representations of delay and or disruption arising as a consequence.

Each case is assessed before the most appropriate method, or combination of methods, for analysing the project are selected.

Project Planning

In addition to provision of forensic planning services, we are able to provide full project planning services both at pre and post contract stages of a project. Examples of such services are as follows:

• Development of a project’s internal detailed master programme, including advice on construction and sequencing strategy.
• Assistance with pre-qualification documents and or production of tender documents
• Contract and or sub-contract programmes.
• Agreement of and or integration and development of sub-contractors’ and specialists’ programmes into the master programme.
• Defining and development of packages/sub-contract scope for inclusion within sub-contract documents.

Claim Analysis and Defence

• We are able to formulate claims defence strategies, analyse claim submissions and prepare fully detailed counterclaims.
• Preparation of claim defence strategies are based upon detailed examination of the strengths and weaknesses of the particular claim.

Adjudication

We have extensive experience in the preparation and presentation of referrals and responses with staff practising as Construction Adjudicators through appointments by various nominating bodies. An expedient service is provided allowing referrals and responses to be prepared in compliance with short timescales, minimising disruption to the business of our clients.
